I-9 Employment Verification

Service Description

Notarix provides Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification services for employers and remote employees who need an authorized representative to complete Section 2 of Form I-9. As the employer-designated Authorized Representative, we will meet with the employee, review the original acceptable documents presented by the employee, complete the applicable Authorized Representative portion of Form I-9, and return the completed documentation according to the employer’s instructions. Service Includes: • Review of employee-presented Form I-9 documentation • Physical examination of acceptable identity and employment authorization documents • Completion and signature of Section 2 as the employer’s Authorized Representative • Completion of employer-provided verification instructions, when applicable • Secure return of completed documents to the employee or employer as instructed • Up to 30 minutes of appointment time Please Bring: • Form I-9 or employer-provided I-9 packet/instructions • Original, acceptable, unexpired identification/employment authorization documents • Employer contact information or authorization instructions, if applicable Employees may choose which acceptable documents to present from the Form I-9 Lists of Acceptable Documents. Notarix will not specify which documents an employee must provide. USCIS permits either one qualifying List A selection or an acceptable combination of List B and List C documentation. Important: This service is performed in the capacity of an employer-designated Authorized Representative and is not a notarization. A notarial seal or stamp is not applied to Form I-9.
